DUBAI: Dubai Police have completed preparations for the World Police Summit 2025, scheduled to take place from Tuesday at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
Held under the patronage of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, the three-day summit will bring together international police leaders, security experts, and organisations to discuss future strategies for global law enforcement and security collaboration.
At a press conference on Wednesday, Brig. Dr. Saleh Rashed Al Hamrani, Deputy Director of the General Department of Excellence and Leadership at Dubai Police, said this year’s theme, “Beyond the Badge: Envision the Next Era of Policing,” highlights the summit’s focus on innovative, tech-driven approaches to global security.
The 2025 edition is expected to exceed past attendance records, with a 25% rise in participation from law enforcement officials, industry leaders, and exhibitors.
More than 300 speakers will participate in sessions covering cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, organised crime, and crisis management.
Lt. Col. Dr. Rashid Hamdan Al Ghafri, Deputy Director of Forensic Evidence and Criminology and Secretary General of the Summit, unveiled an expanded agenda of 12 specialised conference tracks up from seven in the previous edition.
Topics include smart city security, police leadership, and next-gen tech integration.
Three new zones will be introduced this year, Academic Zone: Featuring research from top global universities, Start-up Zone: Highlighting public safety innovation and Demonstration Hub: Offering live law enforcement scenario simulations
Dubai Police aim to position the city as a global security innovation hub.
The summit is also seeing a 200% surge in award nominations, underscoring its focus on recognising excellence in policing.
The accompanying international exhibition will showcase 250+ exhibitors with advanced technologies in surveillance, AI, drones, and emergency response.
